My city has seen a roller-coaster weather change for the past few weeks, which does not make my updated wardrobe happy. That is why I’ve been keeping alert to even a shred of spring to experiment on those flowy fabrics and pastel colors. Last Sunday I finally had a chance for this skirt — high-rise wrap style, wonderfully ombre dyed with the lightest of blue (or should we say “serenity”), it’s a perfect piece for those warm breezy days.
To accentuate the blue tone of the skirt, I picked a black and white theme for my top and my shoes. You can tell how obsessed I am with shoulder baring this season from my last post and this one. This simple cropped top with contrasting bands reminds me of Proenza Schoulder SS16 Collection on the runway, basic tones and fun details.
The pointy toe mules I was standing in are one pair of my footwear staples, and the reasons are simply straightforward: easy to walk in, elongating your legs, and ready to go with everything.
This is an outfit you can easily pull off while feeling chic and romantic in. This is something I would wear for a dinner date on a patio with my husband, or to enjoy some sunshine and afternoon tea with my girlfriends.
Thank you so much for reading, leave a comment if you feel up to it, and I’ll talk to you soon!
