Let’s face it, jumpsuits/rompers can be BORING sometimes. Are they life-savers during your morning chaos? Maybe, at least you don’t have to dig into your wardrobe AGAIN for a perfect match of that top you finally picked out from a hundred tops. But when it comes to the styling part, that simpleness could also mean lack of possibilities, changes, and/or excitements — but (yes another but) of course it doesn’t have to be like that. For this post, I would love to share a few of my own experiments with one navy jumpsuit, sleeveless, with a wrap design at the front and slim straight pants.
For all looks here, my styling strategy is conceptually straightforward — adding a third piece.
There are a thousand pieces you can play with. Like in the first outfit, just a burgundy fedora hat. It not only flawlessly matched my ankle strap heels (strongly recommending, my go-to heels for the past few days, simply amazing), also brought the whole look to a more polished and refined level (which as hubby suggested, could be called an “Agent Carter” level). Then if you throw on a white blazer like I did, it’s a perfect outfit for work. Finally, to add some edge, be bold and try mix and matching that suede jacket (leather jackets would do too!), you’ll be surprised (in a good way)!
I hope you like the looks and the styling tips (feeling a little inspired would be even better:))! Stay chic in the fall!
